Victory is in the sounding of the Trumpet – Preaching

Preaching Outline on II Chronicles 13:14 – “Then Judah looked, and behold, they had to fight before and behind; so they cried out to the LORD, and the priests blew the trumpets.”

Introduction to II Chronicles 13:14

At that moment when the people were going to fight in the war, the blowing of the trumpet gave the order to prepare for war. The blast of the trumpet announced that the war was beginning and everyone had to be ready.

In verse 13 there was an ambush against Judah, and today there is an ambush against the soul of man, because the target is the soul. What is the solution to this war? Who can deliver man?

Development

We are living in days of war, struggle and affliction. Man finds himself surrounded by attacks from the enemy against his family, against his health, in favor of emotional and financial destabilization. How can we win this war?

The position of the church in this war
The Word says that the people’s victory was to hear the sound of the trumpet. In verse 10 it says that some of the people never left the Lord, they were vigilant, attentive.

Every time we see the signs that the natural man doesn’t understand, we are hearing the trumpet call, and we are following a direction, which is the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and being in communion with God.

The solution for Judah is the solution for the man of our day: Listen and follow the trumpet call.
At that moment, the trumpet call gave direction to those who were at war:

It’s time to prepare for battle!

When man goes to worship, hears the Word, he begins to understand the trumpet blast, he begins to understand the signs, the Rapture, and he begins to seek Salvation, then his life changes.

He goes to war, but he listens, discerns and follows the trumpet call. His life is no longer lost in the midst of war, but he knows that the Lord is ahead.

Conclusion of II Chronicles 13:14

Judah’s great victory came at the sounding of the trumpet. Not just in hearing, but in obeying, because when they heard the sound of the trumpet, they prepared for war.

If man sees the signs and discerns them, and walks in the direction of the Holy Spirit, he will win all wars and his soul will be saved, his home will be saved.

The man is surrounded, and like Judah, he must fight:

Ahead: Worrying about the future, anxieties;
Behind: Overcoming the past, the old man.

Victory lies in the sounding of the trumpet, for there is the Lord’s direction for the victory of all wars. This is when man discerns the moment and begins to look to God for his salvation.
