Preaching Outline on 2 Corinthians 9:10- “Now he who gives seed to the sower and bread for food will also multiply your sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness”

Development

The one who gives the seed: The Father who gave us Jesus. God himself became flesh and dwelt among men, becoming the perfect sacrifice to redeem our souls.

There is no truer love than the love of God, revealed in his son Jesus Christ, the Savior.

Give seed to what you sow: Proclaiming Jesus is the church’s main message.

What a great responsibility the Father has given us, the Angels wanted it, but the Lord our God has delegated it to us, his servants. The mission of preaching the Gospel of Salvation.

Bread to eat: the Word of the Lord as food for the soul.

The bread is on the rich man’s table as well as on the poor man’s table, the word of God is accessible to all who want to hear it and keep it in their hearts. Not just any word, but the word of God, the word that comes from the Holy Spirit and truly nourishes the soul.

Multiplying the seed: the Holy Spirit makes the word of God prosper.

Only God through his Holy Spirit gives growth, the seedling grows with the Lord’s blessing, information from on high. Information that speaks to the heart, testifying that it is God speaking and not man.

Increasing the fruits of righteousness: the results of salvation which are lives reached.

The Church’s goal is to win souls for its Lord. This is our role and our reward!
