Because of him, and through him, and for him – Preaching Outline
Preaching Outline on Romans 11:36 – “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things; therefore to him be glory for ever. Amen.”
Introduction to Romans 11:36
There is a project, a salvation, God’s initiative for us to be called, invited. We can understand and live this project by recognizing God’s sovereignty, meeting Jesus, and walking in such a way that the Holy Spirit can direct us in this one project.
Development
Because all things are his…
God created us for a purpose: he longed for praise from man. We must give God what is his: praise. When man runs away from this essence, he walks contrary to God’s will. That’s why, from the moment of creation, God established a plan to rescue man who had strayed. This project of salvation is his. We love God because he first loved us, but what have we done to make God love us unconditionally? Nothing, yet he still loves us. He elected us, according to His foreknowledge. We didn’t interfere in the election.
And through him are all things…
We can try to understand God’s love, but we cannot. In a loving and insistent way, he is close to us, speaking to us in different ways, waiting for our hearts to be open. God sent Jesus so that, through him, we could return to the essence of eternity. Through Jesus we have eternal life. Death was conquered by him on the cross, and we had a revelation of this Living Jesus when we received a call, it was then that we became aware of God’s election to salvation. Election and calling are part of the “ACT OF SALVATION”.
And for him are all things…
Without sanctification we will not come before God. We live the “SALVATION PROCESS” being prepared by the Holy Spirit. The Faithful Church is the Bride of Jesus, the Holy Spirit prepares us for Him. When we are raptured, we will find ourselves in the clouds and will be taken to heaven, where we will praise him forever and ever: “Glory to him forever. Amen.”
