An Affirmation of Divinity - Jesus was not speaking metaphorically; he was declaring himself to be God in the flesh. B. A Direct Connection - "God said to Moses, 'I AM THAT I AM. And he said, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, "I AM has sent me to you."'" (Exodus 3:14) 👉 Jesus is not just a teacher or a prophet. He is God himself made man! 2. Direct Correlation: "THE BREAD" A. Greater than Moses - "Moses did not give them the bread from heaven, but my Father gives them the true bread from heaven." (John 6:32) Moses was the mediator, Jesus is the source. Moses brought them out of Egypt, Jesus brings us out of sin. Moses died, Jesus lives forever. B. Greater than Manna - "For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." A Personal Invitation - "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life." (John 6:47)B. A Clear Explanation - "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."
