When the judgments came upon man, there was always escape, salvation, and God saves only one family in each judgment. a) Flood In the flood, the Lord saves Noah's family because they listened to God's voice. b) Sodom and Gomorrah In the judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord saved Lot's family from destruction through the intercession of Abraham (his uncle). c) Jericho In the judgment of destruction on Jericho, the Lord saves Rahab's family. d) Egypt When the people left Egypt, there was a family (Israel), and the Lord created a plan and executed it through Moses to save them. There is an imminent judgment on the earth, because the prophecies point to this moment, and the Lord has prepared a plan of salvation for man through the Lord Jesus. When they told the Lord Jesus that his mother and brothers were outside wanting to see him, he said: " Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. The family of the Lord Jesus was being formed and continues with those who wish to do the Father's will. Conclusion of Ephesians 2:19 Israel, which rejected Jesus, is a single family, because Israel (who was Jacob), was the patriarch of this family that began with the promise to Abraham, his grandfather. And when man receives the Holy Spirit, he becomes part of this family. That is why we are brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, the son who shed his blood, so that each one who receives this blood (Holy Spirit) may also be called a child of God, forming the family of God.
